How to show the iPhone battery percentage left
The iOS will show the relative amount of battery life left on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. If you want a more precise measure of the remaining battery life you can either one of the many free battery apps. But if you have the iOS 3.0 or newer, you can turn on a special option on the iPhone to show percentage of the remaining the battery life. There is no reason not to do it, though you may find it alarming how quickly iPhone battery drops. It is one of many nifty iPhone tricks that is not well documented by Apple.
First go to the native Settings app and active it.
Then select the General option
Select the Usage option
You will see the Battery Percentage switch. Turn it on and the percentage of battery life on the device will always display (green circle).

Tip
